Associate Project Manager

About the role: - Oversee complex project delivery initiatives in AI data, content review, annotation, labeling, or similar spaces - Coordinate across multiple teams and manage relationships with clients at all levels - Own planning and execution across concurrent workstreams from inception through completion - Drive quality standards by applying SOPs, QA checkpoints, and clear acceptance criteria throughout delivery What you'll work on: - Build and maintain schedules, resource plans, and tracking systems for large-scale operations - Serve as the primary point of contact between Welo Data and client stakeholders, communicating status and resolving concerns - Identify emerging risks and issues; escalate and negotiate solutions with confidence - Monitor budgets, margins, and change requests; make sound trade-off decisions that balance scope, cost, and timeline - Mentor junior project managers and coordinators, building capability across the team What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, data/operations, engineering, or a related discipline - 1+ years managing complex project delivery or operations in AI data, content review, annotation, labeling, or adjacent fields - Demonstrated success coordinating handoffs across multiple teams and stewarding client relationships - Proficiency with spreadsheets, PM software or task boards, and foundational business intelligence tools; familiarity with ETL concepts is valued - Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when engaging senior stakeholders - Strong instinct for quality; practical experience embedding SOPs and QA gates into workflows - Ability to coach and develop junior team members - Comfort navigating global, distributed team environments; intermediate to advanced English proficiency required
