Software Development Engineer 1

About this role

About the role: - Develop and maintain software solutions using modern technologies and best practices - Build and consume REST APIs as part of your daily work - Write code following object-oriented programming principles, SOLID design patterns, and established design methodologies - Implement automated testing and test automation practices across the codebase - Collaborate with teams to integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into the software development lifecycle - Use version control systems and CI/CD pipelines to manage code and deployments What we're looking for: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience - At least 3 months of software engineering work experience - Proficiency in C# and Python - Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns - Hands-on experience with REST API development and integration - Working knowledge of automated testing frameworks and test automation methodologies - Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD workflows - Experience or familiarity with AI and ML-driven development approaches Your strengths: - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug complex issues - Clear communication and ability to articulate technical concepts to team members - Genuine enthusiasm for learning modern technologies and design approaches - Strong collaborative approach to working within development teams
