About the role: - You will architect and implement scalable backend systems that handle growing data and user loads - You'll create robust APIs and microservices that power the product across multiple domains - Your work spans the full lifecycle from initial design through deployment and optimization - You'll take ownership of technical decisions that shape how the platform evolves - You'll partner with the team to improve system performance, uptime and user experience What you'll work on: - Backend development using Python with Django ORM for database operations - Cloud infrastructure and deployment on AWS - Designing services that can scale horizontally and handle high throughput - Code reviews and mentoring junior developers on best practices - Identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to boost reliability What we're looking for: - Deep expertise in Python and Django development - Strong foundation in API design and microservices architecture - Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud deployment - Problem-solving ability and comfort making technology tradeoffs - Track record of building systems others rely on
