About the role: - Build and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin, writing clean and efficient code that meets Wipro's quality standards - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user interfaces that are intuitive and responsive across different device sizes and Android versions - Debug and troubleshoot application issues, using Android Studio and emulator tools to identify and resolve defects before release - Integrate backend APIs and third-party libraries into mobile applications, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality - Participate in code reviews with teammates, providing constructive feedback and implementing suggestions to improve code quality - Work with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications What we're looking for: - Strong proficiency in Android development with hands-on experience building production-grade applications - Solid understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle, and best practices for app development - Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns commonly used in mobile development - Experience with version control systems such as Git for managing codebase changes - Ability to write unit tests and maintain code coverage for reliable application performance - Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished user experiences
