About the role: - Test payment processing systems and transaction workflows across multiple channels and platforms - Execute test cases for payment gateway integrations, covering authorization, settlement, and reconciliation flows - Validate payment security features including encryption, tokenization, and fraud prevention mechanisms - Perform regression testing and smoke testing on payment modules following code releases - Investigate and document defects in payment systems, working with development teams to resolve issues - Test end-to-end payment scenarios including domestic transfers, international remittances, and wallet operations - Verify compliance with payment industry standards such as PCI-DSS and regulatory requirements What we're looking for: - Strong understanding of payment systems, banking concepts, and transaction processing - Experience with manual testing methodologies and test case design - Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and validating payment records - Ability to work with payment APIs and understand integration testing principles - Attention to detail and a systematic approach to identifying edge cases and payment failures - Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a payments environment
