About the role: - Design and maintain network switching infrastructure at Layer 2 and Layer 3 using V1-Switch technologies - Develop and implement Python-based automation scripts to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks - Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize switch configurations for reliability - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy network solutions across multiple environments What you'll work on: - Building automation frameworks that manage VLAN configurations, routing policies, and network access controls - Writing Python code to automate repetitive switching tasks and integrate with existing network management tools - Analyzing network traffic patterns and implementing improvements to enhance overall system efficiency - Testing and validating network changes before deployment to production systems What we're looking for: - Strong understanding of OSI model fundamentals, particularly Layers 2 and 3 networking protocols - Proficiency in Python programming with ability to write clean, maintainable code - Hands-on experience with network switches and routing concepts - Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail in a fast-paced technical environment
