About the role: - Join Wits Innovation Lab as a QA Intern and immerse yourself in real-world quality assurance practices across live projects - Develop hands-on expertise in the full software testing lifecycle, from test planning through execution and defect management - Work alongside experienced QA professionals to understand how testing integrates into product development - Engage with both functional and regression testing to ensure software quality and catch regressions early What you'll work on: - Design and execute comprehensive test cases tailored to application features and user workflows - Document and report bugs with clear, actionable details for development teams to reproduce and fix - Apply SDLC and STLC methodologies to understand how testing fits into the broader development process - Participate in testing cycles for various features and modules under mentor guidance What we're looking for: - Fresh graduates or current interns with a passion for technology and quality assurance - Strong foundational knowledge of software testing principles and practices - Eagerness to learn from experienced QA engineers and absorb industry best practices - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering thorough, reliable test coverage - Ability to document test cases and defects clearly and systematically Good to know: - This is a 6-month internship program - Outstanding performers have the opportunity to transition into a full-time QA role based on your contributions and growth during the internship
