About the company: - Zouk is an Indian vegan lifestyle and accessories brand reaching consumers through digital storefronts, online marketplaces and physical retail locations. About the role: - Lead the brand's copywriting function and maintain a recognisable communication style across marketing and customer interactions. - Combine writing and editing responsibilities with the management and development of other copywriters. What you'll do: - Establish writing guidelines that keep messaging consistent across campaigns, product communication and customer touchpoints. - Produce and review headlines, advertising hooks, calls to action, social posts and customer messages. - Create copy for performance marketing, CRM campaigns, website pages and digital advertisements. - Explain product features through clear customer-focused messaging for launches, listings and product pages. - Support communication for retail stores, packaging, marketplaces and offline advertising. - Collaborate with designers, content creators and marketing teams to turn campaign ideas into effective written content. - Review customer responses and campaign results to improve messaging and conversion performance. - Guide junior writers, distribute writing assignments and provide editorial feedback. - Use AI tools, reusable templates and messaging libraries to improve content production workflows. What we're looking for: - 4–7 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably with consumer-facing brands. - Strong writing, editing, storytelling and communication skills across different marketing formats. - Understanding of performance advertising, CRM messaging and consumer behaviour. - Ability to evaluate content performance and adjust copy based on data and feedback. - Experience using AI tools for writing-related research, ideation and content development. Good to have: - Previous responsibility for mentoring or supervising a copywriting team. - Experience in D2C, e-commerce, fashion, beauty or lifestyle marketing, including product launches and retail communication. Good to know: - Located in Chembur, Mumbai, within the Brand Marketing department. - Reports to the Director of Brand Marketing and D2C. - The schedule covers Monday to Friday and the fourth Saturday each month.
