If you want to solve complex technical challenges in fast-growing segments, we encourage you to apply.

Position Overview

We are seeking engineers with 2-5 years of experience to independently own functional validation of MCU peripherals and subsystems, spanning pre-silicon (RTL simulation, QuickTurn/Palladium/ZeBu emulation, FPGA prototyping) and post-silicon (functional bring-up and validation on silicon). You will work closely with Architecture, Design, and Firmware teams to ensure robust, competitive automotive devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own functional validation of Automotive peripherals and communication interfaces
  • Develop requirements-based test plans, directed tests, and negative/corner-case scenarios
  • Develop firmware test suites and automation in Python and C
  • Debug hardware/software interactions across firmware, RTL waveforms, emulation, and silicon
  • Execute first-silicon functional bring-up and peripheral functional tests
  • Maintain regressions, track coverage, and close functional gaps
  • Execute performance and benchmarking tests on assigned peripherals and subsystems
  • Reproduce customer-reported issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Verify fixes for customer-reported issues
  • Produce test plans, validation reports, and defect root-cause analyses
  • Coordinate with RTL designers and architecture teams on design issues

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 2-5 years of engineering experience working with silicon design and/or validation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience with ARM architecture
  • Strong embedded C (drivers, interrupts, DMA, register-level programming)
  • Python for test automation and log/result analysis
  • Hands-on lab experience with JTAG/SWD debuggers and basic bench tools for functional debug
  • Advanced knowledge of digital logic
  • Automotive protocols: CAN FD and LIN; Ethernet MAC fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety concepts
  • Git and strong technical documentation skills
